Session 2
Aloha Divine One,
First, start this session with this meditation or whatever practice you use to center yourself, ground yourself, and calm your mind.
Great! Now your session: Our ego or subconscious only wants us to survive and it works hard to make sure we stay alive. It LOVES comfort! So much so that it perceives thriving or having more than what we currently have as a threat. That's why some people create more debt as they create more income, some stay in a dead end job they hate instead of risking and going for a better job they'll love, and lots of people stay in unhealthy relationships. They are surviving so their ego or subconscious is satisfied. Especially when you get to where you feel you "made it".
This also applies to how we relate to others. If you've been raised to take care of everyone and everything else and feel guilty about having your own needs and values, your subconscious will try to keep it that way. After all, it's been working for you until now. So we're bringing in the healing modality of tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Please watch this video for a brief explanation and a powerful tapping session to help you let go of expectations, forgive yourself and others, and accept your needs as a priority. You can come back to this video anytime you feel stressed out or overwhelmed. Tapping may take a few times (it depends on how deep the belief is) to let go of what's holding you back, but once it's gone, it's gone forever. If you’d like the script, you can find it here.
What makes tapping so powerful is that you're combining your mind, body, and soul. You are soothing your nervous system, releasing what no longer serves you, and bringing in good things (remember, the Universe doesn't like voids). And there's literally zero side effects!
So most of the work for this session will happen outside of this moment. This week is all about revealing what you plan on doing everyday and what actually happens. You don't have to add anything or be super productive this week, this will work best with your regular schedule . I just ask that you add one unmet need or value to what you're already doing. You decide how to meet that need or value and when or how often. The main thing is to see how you plan your day and what actually plays out.
And you have 2 options in downloads on how to track everything! The Hourly Schedule is for people that love to plan their time and the Daily Priorities is for people that like flexibility and focus on tasks or priorities they want to accomplish. And if neither work for you, you can always make your own. There's no one way for everyone so you do what works best for you. I promise you aren't going to hurt my feelings. In fact, if you create something amazing, I'd love to see it!
And that's it for this session! It will be a lot of work between sessions this week, but do your best. Forward is forward so don't get stuck on perfection. Do your best, complete your preferred schedule as much as possible, meditate when you need to calm your mind, and use the tapping video when you are stressed or overwhelmed. You can do this! You deserve this! And I'm excited for you learn about yourself next week. Because you will see just how amazing you are in your next session!
