Session 3
Aloha Divine One,
This week is about reflecting on how much you’re coming from true choice and identifying your ideal day. But first, let’s check in and reflect on how you did last week.
1. Grab your chosen schedule tracker (hourly or priority) and 2 highlighters in your favorite colors.
2. Use your favorite color highlighter to mark or highlight everything on your schedule tracker that you said you were going to do and did. (Example: You planned on going to the store and you did)
3. Use your second favorite color highlighter to mark or highlight everything you chose to shift or change. (Example: You planned on seeing a friend for an hour but they were dealing with something heavy so you chose to spend 2 hours with your friend to support them)
4. Now look at your highlights or marks and guestimate what percentage you came from true choice instead of obligation or your day getting away from you.
Are you surprised? So many of us are trained to see the bad in ourselves. We think we’re constantly letting ourselves down when most of us are showing up for ourselves more than we realize. And I’m 99.9999999% sure you didn’t hit 100%. But you know what?!? Studies show that achieving 85% consistently equals success. Which means you have a 15% buffer and don’t have to be perfect. So let the idea of perfection go. And if it bothers you, an affirmation that may support you is, “I am releasing any and all needs to be perfect because I am whole, valuable, and worthy as I am.” You don’t have to track your schedule strictly anymore, but it’s a good idea to track your highest priorities of the day and ensure you’re coming from true choice to either get them done or shift them.
Next, let’s calm and ground with this meditation or whatever practice you use to center yourself, ground yourself, and calm your mind.
Now that you are calm and centered, complete this form to identify and create Your Ideal Day.
Your Ideal Day is NOT to be perfected by next week! This is a concept you are introducing into your life and integrating into your everyday. Small, sustainable steps lead to long lasting change and transformation, so please be gentle on yourself and give yourself grace as you incorporate this into your daily life. Just start aligning your life into Your Ideal Day and make a note when Your Ideal Day needs adjusting or would benefit from a shift. And think of this as a working document as YOU get to know YOU better. We’re striving for progress here, not perfection, AND being gentle and graceful with ourselves along the way. 1% progress little by little leads to MASSIVE changes!
Lastly, start to incorporate 1 need into your life. This is new, so make it an easy win. If you have the need to Achieve, what’s 1 thing you can achieve this week that you wouldn’t normally? If you have the need to Be Heard, how can you hear yourself? If you have the need to be Independent, what’s 1 thing can you do on your own? The point here isn’t to be perfect or make a massive change. The point here is to give yourself an easy win so you begin to give yourself evidence that you always do what you say you will do. And you’re going to start by fulfilling your needs.
And that's it for this session! Do your best, don’t get stuck on perfection, meditate when you need to calm your mind, and use the tapping video when you are stressed or overwhelmed. You are making small, sustainable steps to massively change your life. Have a great week and I’m excited for you to shift little by little into Your Ideal Day!
